What TGIF and its Membership Eligibility? - The Gifted in Fremont - TGIF - is an advocacy group for Parents of Gifted Students in Fremont.
- Membership to TGIF is open to all families with at least one GATE identified child currently part of Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) System.
- You need to have a security code from TGIF to join. If your child was recently GATE identified, you will receive a code from TGIF through the GATE office in the first week of September.
- If you do not have the code, and if you have at least one GATE identified child in the FUSD for a while, please send a copy of the letter received from the FUSD GATE office identifying your child as Gifted. It normally shows the scores in different areas, and informs you of the GATE identification. Please send it to verify1516@giftedinfremont.org. You will receive a code that will allow you to join the TGIF. The turnaround time for this is three weekdays. Please do not join TGIF with a code that you have not received from TGIF!
- TGIF membership is on an annual basis. The dues are not pro-rated for the year and not refundable.
- TGIF has tried to provide all information you may possibly need to know in the FAQ. If you still have any questions, please contact the correct person.

General meetings are open to all interested parties. Registration to attend general meetings is not required. If you would like to become a member for the current school year, please fill out the registration form.
